Stacey Squires
Founder & Board ChairStacey laughs about her “accidental careers” in the hedge fund industry and, more recently, the residential and commercial real estate industry. An internship with a local finance company led to a 15 year career in the hedge fund industry, where she concluded her career as a partner in the firm and head of the investment division. She later partnered with her husband in residential and commercial development in Portland and SW Washington. She is a CFA Charterholder. Stacey has served on a number of boards including the Raphael House of Portland and the University of Oregon Foundation, where she served as Chair of the Investment Committee.
She currently serves on the Board of Oregon Health Sciences University Foundation, where she chairs the Investment Committee, and Ronald McDonald House of Oregon and SW Washington. Stacey and Joe founded Kathy’s Place to honor her mom, Kathy, and to provide families with the resources and connection to make transformational change. She is very aware that she was lucky to land in a place that provided upward mobility, and is grateful that she always had a family that was able to be her safety net. She is a proud mom to the amazing and hilarious Xander and Kennedy.
