Meet Shanti Villarreal

Shanti Villarreal is a results-driven leader with deep experience in people, project, and program management. She is a trusted problem solver with a primary focus on business process and systems development, integration and deployment. Ms Villarreal considers herself lucky to be working for the Portland non-profit, Cascadia Health, as the Director of Grants and Contracts Revenue where she works to drive improvements in programs and health for Portland residents. Shanti is also a single mom who intimately knows the difficulty in making ends meet while also providing for the welfare and happiness of your family.

Prior to her work with Cascadia, Shanti worked for Xerox for more than 20 years, starting in the call center and leaving as a VicePresident. She holds 4 patents related to printing systems. In addition to her work at Cascadia Health, Villarreal is passionate about caring for those in her community with a focus on food security. She served on the Board of Directors for Focus on Youth and Wilsonville Community Sharing and she spent a year volunteering with Feed the Mass. She is dedicated to using her experience to support the alleviation of poverty and hunger through innovation, reducing barriers to entry, and building strong communities. Shanti is a loving mom to her two now grown girls, Isabella and Gabriella.
