Meet Joe Squires

Joe received his electrical training in the Nuclear Navy Program. In 1997 he Founded Squires Electric, an electrical contracting firm focused on its core values of zealous communication, trust & respect, and extraordinary service. Joe is a long-term member of the Portland chapter of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), a global business mentorship organization. Joe has served, and continues to serve, in multiple leadership roles that allow him to mentor small businesses, entrepreneurs, and young electricians, including his work with EO, Habitat for Humanity,  and the IBEW Electrical Workers Union.

In addition, since 2005, Joe has actively partnered with his wife, Stacey, in residential and commercial real estate development in Portland and, more recently, SW Washington. Joe grew up knowing financial, food, and emotional insecurity. He is dedicated to providing the opportunities that are far too often scarce or not viable for single moms just trying to make ends meet and provide for their families. Joe is the son-in-law to the inspiration for our project, Kathy. He is the proud dad of two amazing and hilarious kids, Xander and Kennedy.
